Product Description
Protect and optimize your vehicle's steering system with Valvoline Professional Series (VPS) Full Synthetic Power Steering Fluid. Engineered specifically for professional shops and demanding drivers, this advanced synthetic formula delivers superior low-temperature fluidity and high-temperature thermal stability. It actively prevents foam, oxidation, and corrosion while conditioning seals to prevent leaks and ensure a smooth, quiet, and responsive steering experience.
Key Features & Benefits:
Full Synthetic Formula: Provides exceptional protection across extreme weather conditions, preventing thermal breakdown during heavy-duty or stop-and-go driving.
Seal Conditioning: Advanced additives help maintain and protect rack and pinion seals against hardening, shrinking, and leaks.
Anti-Wear & Anti-Foam Technology: Protects internal power steering pump components against premature wear, cavitation, and noisy operation.
Professional Grade: Meets stringent OEM performance standards for modern hydraulic steering systems.
Vehicle Fitment / Compatibility
Valvoline VPS Full Synthetic Power Steering Fluid is formulated as a universal high-performance fluid compatible with a wide array of domestic, Asian, and European passenger cars, light trucks, and SUVs.
General Compatibility: Designed for vehicles specifying a high-performance synthetic or standard power steering fluid.
Important Note: Always check your owner's manual or under-hood power steering reservoir cap to confirm whether your specific make and model requires standard mineral-based fluid, specialized hydraulic fluid (such as CHF / Pentosin), or automatic transmission fluid (ATF) for the power steering system.
How to Use / Application Instructions
Locate the Reservoir: Ensure the engine is turned off and cool. Locate the power steering fluid reservoir under the hood (usually labeled with a steering wheel icon or "Power Steering").
Clean the Area: Wipe clean the area surrounding the reservoir cap to prevent dirt and debris from contaminating the system.
Check Fluid Level: Inspect the fluid level against the "Hot" or "Cold" indicator marks on the dipstick or translucent reservoir wall.
Fill to Specification: If low, remove the cap and slowly pour Valvoline VPS Full Synthetic Power Steering Fluid into the reservoir until the fluid reaches the proper level. Do not overfill.
Bleed Air (If flushing/refilling): If replacing old fluid entirely, secure the cap, start the vehicle, and turn the steering wheel fully from lock to lock several times to circulate the fluid and purge trapped air. Recheck the level and top off if necessary.
